Canada Reads - the annual debate to find the book all Canadians should read.
One Book, One Vancouver - Vancouver Public Library's annual city-wide book club.
Seattle Reads - Seattle Public Library's annual city-wide book club.
*There are "One Book, One Community" events around the globe.
The Big Read - In 2003, Britains were asked to vote for their favourite book. The page is not longer being updated but it contains the lists of the top 200, top 100 and top 21.
The Strand 80 - the Strand Bookshop in New York is a venerable institution. It was founded in 1927 and to celebrate it's 80th anniversary developed this list of must reads.
